Custom Lapel Pins

Our most popular lapel pin style is a low cost, premium quality option great for large organizations and small clubs. Match the Pantone (PMS) colors and shape of your logo while finishing the piece off with a variety of plating options.

We can turn any design into a soft enamel pin, so it doesn't matter if you have an EPS/AI file or just a hand drawing or a sketched concept. And don't let the name fool you, these pins are made out of premium base metal, so they're not bendable or plastic.

Hard enamel pins are diestruck, overfilled with enamel color and then polished down to create a surface that's smooth to the touch. Hard enamel pins take a few extra days to produce, but it's worth the wait as the final result is a jewelry quality (sometimes called Cloisonné), shiny custom pin. Due to the polishing process, sometimes especially small details can be tricky to see on hard enamel pins, so consider soft enamel or printed pins if your design is complicated.

Diestruck antique pins are an excellent option for most logos. The antique process creates contrast between the raised (shinier) and recessed (darker) components of your design. The result is a product that captures a ton of detail and looks great for years. These can be produced very quickly so it's a go-to solution for customers on a tight deadline.

If you're looking for a shiny finish on your custom pins, this is your option! During production, the raised portions of the pin are polished whereas the recessed parts are sandblasted, creating enough texture and contrast for some of the finer details to stand out. For the right design, this is an excellent choice and can have a very high perceived value. This is a commonly used style for employee recognition and award pins.

Sometimes details in your design will be too small to enamel fill with color. Rather than switching to a photodome pin, we can still work with enamel + diestruck processes if we print on top of the smooth hard enamel surfaces. Need small text in your logo to be a specific color and not gold or silver metal? This is your option! It's a time intensive process since we need to first finish a full hard enamel pin run and then send to printing, but these are worth the wait!

The process for creating glitter pins is identical to the production of a normal enamel pin up until the final step: mixing glitter into the actual enamel. The final product is a dazzling combination of color and metal that when done correctly, can offer the perfect accent or variation to your normal enamel pin. We recommend soft enamel with glitter pins becuase the polishing process on hard enamel moves the glitter around to different cavitities and dulls the final appearance

Add glow in the dark to any enamel cavity for a fun special effect. UV or glow in the dark pins will not be able to light up a room, but they certainly do add an extra element of creativity to any pin design.

Some designs are too complicated to diestrike or enamel fill, but with photodome pins, we're able to replicate a complex logo with an offset printing process. Photodome lapel pins are printed directly onto the metal (usually aluminum base metal) and then covered with a protective epoxy dome. At larger quantities, these are the cheapest and fastest option. They're a little lighter than the diestruck or enamel pins, but are an excellent option for the right logo and timeframe.
